IN LOVING MEMORY OF INEZ STUBBS
by Joy Rutschman

I wish I knew just how to say
the words that are in my heart today
You took the time to be right there
When I didn't feel that anyone cared
I was feeling helpless and confused
And didn't know which way to turn
The pain was buried deep inside
and went by unnoticed cause I didn't cry
My days and nights turned into fear
I couldn't find a way to make anyone hear
Somehow I began to lose my hope
and came face to face with the end of my rope
But God looking down from up above
knew what I needed was a touch of His love
He led me to you as a part of His plan
and gave you the wisdom to understand
You were just right so He gave you the key
to unlock the darkness surrounding me
As patches of sunlight began to break through
I reached for your love and found His love too.
